Matthews ALIVE! Festival |

The Matthews ALIVE! festival is a
grand four-day family event. This year the dates are Aug 29 through
Sept 1. Expect to see more than 150 arts and crafts vendors, 30 food
vendors, one of the largest parades in the Southeast, the festival’s
annual quilt show and the Kids Connection interactive area, as well as
a fantastic Midway full of games and rides for all ages and 4 Stages of
free entertainment all weekend.

Water Conservation Tips |

The drought facing North Carolina is of historic proportions and, unfortunately, grows more severe by the day. Without significant rainfall, our citizens may soon face harsh restrictions on water use and the possibility of water rationing.
